Ten days across Texas in the spring — San Antonio's aquarium and old Spanish stone, Dallas and its bronze longhorn drive, Arboretum and dinosaur halls, the falling-water terraces of the Fort Worth Water Gardens, the Saturn V and lunar module at Houston's Space Center, the Alamo and the pink-granite Capitol in Austin, and the clear creeks and limestone ledges of the Hill Country.
